Mr. Mario

Mario Padovani brings 45 years experience as a professional vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, arranger and producer to his role as a music instructor.  He began singing along with Mario Lanza records at age 5, studying at age 7 and was performing professionally by age 8. His studies have included 18 years of vocal training as well as studies in classical harmony, counterpoint, orchestration and jazz arranging. He currently plays seven instruments including the piano, guitar, bass, harmonica, mandolin, violin, and ukulele. In 2004 he released his debut CD, A Letter to Your Heart, on the Matchbox Recordings Label (UK). He has composed the soundtracks for two independent films, A Sicilian Tale from Dreamquest Productions and Eye of the Beholder from Siberian Productions. In 2011 he collaborated with Cathy Quigley composing the music for a dance sequence for “FEMALE TROUBLE.” He has co-authored the book “P.S. You Are Loved: Living the Life of Inspiration", sharing his story of living with Poland Syndrome. In between teaching and performing he is currently recording a new original CD for release in 2023 as well writing a book.
